Canadian Blood Services say that they have hundreds of missed donations due to the holiday storm that closed donor centers and mobile units. The nationwide inventory has dropped by more than 35% since October and there is a critical need for platelets for cancer patients and O-negative blood for newborns and emergencies. The CBS say its base has been shrinking, and is the lowest in decades.

They say blood is in you to give, so please roll them up for Canadian Blood Services or Héma Québec.
