At the Tower of London, skeptical visitor Frederick Holman dismisses tales of ghosts until night watchman Mr. Swifte leads him into the Chapel of St. Peter ad Vincula, where the Tower’s headless dead are said to rest beneath the flagstones. When Holman’s curiosity draws him toward the shadowed choir loft and its pipe organ, history and superstition begin to feel alarmingly close.
