Shelby lost her dad, Officer Richard Houston, in the line of duty when she was just 18 years old. About Shelby Houston Brown:

Shelby Houston Brown is married to her husband, Will, with their daughter, Indie Jane. They currently reside in Tyler, TX . She is the oldest daughter of Officer Richard Houston, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on December 3rd, 2021. Shelby is most known by the eulogy she shared at her father’s funeral, where she forgives the man who shot her father.

Since then, Shelby has traveled internationally speaking, at conferences, gatherings, and prisons - sharing her story of forgiveness. She is currently working on a book she hopes to release in the near future, that will share her story & the hope she has found in Jesus.
