The Vision for Witches Recovery: Building a Community That Keeps Us Connected, Grounded, and Sober

In this episode of the Sober Witch Life Podcast, Sunshine Witchski shares an update on the growing Witches Recovery Circles and the larger vision behind the Sober Witch Life movement. What began with just two people has grown into regular recovery meetings with participants joining from different places. Sunshine shares her dream of eventually having recovery meetings available every day—and ultimately creating a space where a witch or magically spiritual person can find recovery support whenever they need it.

A major part of making this vision possible is training more facilitators who can lead recovery circles and help expand the community. Sunshine discusses the facilitator training program, the support and resources provided to facilitators, and the need for more people willing to step forward and serve.

She also reflects deeply on her own recovery journey, approaching seven years of sobriety, and the importance of continuing to do the inner work rather than assuming that time alone means recovery is complete. For Sunshine, the recovery circles provide accountability, connection, vulnerability, and a safe place to confront things that may otherwise remain hidden.
