Story Transcript:

Nl: Op een zonnige zomerochtend, in een rustige buurt met keurige tuinen en rustige straten, besloot de buurman op de hoek iets onverwachts te doen.
En: On a sunny summer morning, in a quiet neighborhood with tidy gardens and peaceful streets, the neighbor on the corner decided to do something unexpected.

Nl: Hij bouwde een doolhof van heggen in zijn achtertuin.
En: He built a maze of hedges in his backyard.

Nl: De bewoners vonden het maar vreemd, maar voor de kinderen was het een avontuur.
En: The residents found it strange, but for the children, it was an adventure.

Nl: Bram, een jonge man die alles graag netjes en georganiseerd hield, was niet zo dol op onverwachte dingen.
En: Bram, a young man who liked to keep everything neat and organized, was not so fond of unexpected things.

Nl: Zijn fiets stond altijd precies op dezelfde plek gestald, maar deze ochtend was het spoorloos.

En: Without that bike, I can't get to work at the bakery," he called out in slight panic to his cousin, Femke.

En: "Come on, Bram!

En: Femke laughed and had fun, while Bram worried about finding the way back.

Nl: Plotseling stonden ze in het midden van het doolhof.
En: Suddenly, they found themselves in the middle of the maze.

Nl: Jochem lachte hard en zei: "Ik verstopte je fiets hier als grapje!"
En: Jochem laughed loudly and said: "I hid your bike here as a joke!"

Nl: Bram keek verbaasd, maar toen lachte hij.
