“We Know You’re in There” | Real Ghost Stories

She had lived alone for years without ever feeling uneasy in her own house. Then one night, shortly after two in the morning, three clear knocks woke her from a sound sleep.

A few minutes later, the knocking came again.

When she quietly went downstairs, she heard something even more unexpected: two children talking outside her front door. They asked to come inside, but despite having no obvious reason to fear them, every instinct she had told her to keep the door locked.

She eventually called police, and by the time officers arrived, the children were gone. The next morning, she remembered the security camera pointed directly at the porch and decided to see exactly what it had recorded.

What she found left her wondering whether anyone had been standing outside her door at all.
