Cool Cars with Chris: The Story Behind the Podcast + What’s Next

It’s almost been one full year of Cool Cars with Chris, and in this solo episode I’m sharing the story behind the podcast, why I started it, and what’s coming next.

My podcasting journey started back in 2019 and eventually led to shows like The Kris and Kristine Show and Podtastic Audio. But after major life changes in 2025, I decided I didn’t want to keep making a show about how to podcast. I wanted podcasting to be fun again.

That’s where Cool Cars with Chris came from.

Inspired by the memories of owning my Nissan 370Z and the pure enjoyment of driving a fun car, I created a show focused less on spec sheets and more on the real experience of owning and driving cool cars.
