As we go back to school, we’ve got to remember teachers are the soil we plant our children in for 8 hours a day, so while the emotional well-being of teachers might seem like some “woke” talking point, stressed or burned out teachers actually directly shape the emotional and developmental well-being of our children in their formative years, and what happens to a society when the adults responsible for educating and emotionally regulating the next generation are just operating in survival mode? Nothing good.
