E.J. Lagasse is a culinary star on the rise, the youngest two-star Michelin chef in history, and the chef/co-owner of Emeril’s in New Orleans. This father-son duo visited Blackberry Farm for a special annual event, Passing the Torch, that honors the traditions and skills passed down from one generation of hospitality leaders to the next. In conversation with hosts Mary Celeste Beall and Sarah Chabot, the chefs share a little about their journeys in the industry and what it’s like working with family. Emeril offers his advice to aspiring chefs and E.J. shares what he thinks is most important for chefs already in the industry to remember.
