One Reason For A Pre-Tribulation Rapture

This episode examines one of the central biblical reasons for a pre-tribulation Rapture: the Church has not been appointed to experience God’s wrath. Drawing from bible passages, we distinguish between the persecution Christians have suffered at the hands of people and the divine wrath described as coming upon the earth during the Tribulation.

This discussion also explores the distinction between the Church and the saints described during the Tribulation, the worldwide judgments and suffering prophesied for that seven-year period, and Jesus’ promise in Luke 21:36 to “escape all these things.” The episode challenges the post-tribulation view by asking how the Church could be subject to a period repeatedly described in Scripture as God’s wrath against the wicked and rebellious, while emphasizing the hope and deliverance promised to those who belong to Christ.
