Advertisements That Should Never Have Been

Hello Poison Friends! Erin and I are having some fun this week just looking through some ads from the 1800s and early-mid 1900s, that would never have been approved or allowed today. Many of these are for products that would also be illegal and toxic to those consuming them and yes, some of them were for children as well.

We are also covering some old misogynistic ads featuring the "typical 50's house wife" and so on. As tired as I am of today's pharmaceutical ads (and believe me, Hulu is killing me lately), these are pretty shocking. Come take a look with us!
