After the Three Knocks, Things Got Worse | Real Ghost Stories CLASSIC

When his parents left town, he expected a few quiet days at home with his wife and young son. Instead, someone began knocking on their bedroom door.

The three knocks were so familiar that, half asleep, he automatically called out, “Come in”—forgetting that no one else was home. Soon, they were hearing footsteps cross the old wooden floors and stop outside their room.

Then things involving their son became much harder to dismiss.

The family eventually wondered whether the presence might have been his grandfather, who had passed away around the time the baby was born and never got the chance to meet him.
