En: It was a cold autumn day, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of fallen leaves.

En: Outside the old rådhuset, where people in light jackets and scarves waited in line, you could hear the sound of leaves crunching underfoot.

En: Inside the building, it was busy.

En: His heart was torn between different candidates and parties, and he didn’t know who would support the values that were important to him.

En: As he pondered, he noticed Signe, a colleague from the school.

En: They started talking, and Lars realized that she also felt uncertain.

No: "Det er så mye å tenke på," sa Signe.

No: "Utdanning, miljø, økonomi.
En: "Education, the environment, the economy.

En: How can we know what is best?"

No: Snart kom Erik, en tidligere elev, til dem.
En: Soon, Erik, a former student, joined them.

En: He was now a young adult, and he too was unsure of who to vote for.

En: "I want to do what's best for the community," said Erik, "but it's hard to know what is truly right."

No: Lars lyttet nøye.

En: He now felt confident that he had made the right choice.

En: On his way home, as he walked through the crunchy, leaf-covered streets, Lars felt filled with a new optimism for the future.
