How to Grow and strengthen your Altar

1) The body as a living sacrifice ( Rom 12:1)

- Righteousness promotes while sin demotes (Prov 14:34)

- God won't empower Altars of believers who walk around in sin

- One cannot walk in holiness and not walk in substance

- Holiness is a lifestyle that seeks to please God (Prov 28:13)

2) The sacrifice of praise (Ps 107:8)

- Praise is a mystery that is loaded with strange order of testimonies

- It is an acknowledgement and appreciation of what God has done in our lives (Heb 13:15)

- You are not always meant to wait for Sunday and Wednesday services to praise God

- Don't murmur and complain because it hinders your praise to God

3) Through giving and sharing

- Giving to the work of God, and giving to mankind

- Sacrificial giving is one of the fastest ways to build and strengthen your altar (Heb 13:16)

4) The Prayers Of The Saints

- Prayer will always make you to be strong in the spirit realm

- One quick way to build and strengthen your altar is when you pray for others

- When you make intercession and cry out to God it is symbolically depicted as ascending incense before the throne (Rev 5:8)

5) Serving God (Job 36:11)

- Obedience and serving will always usher you into greatness

- Don't come to church and do nothing...find something to do!!!

6) Grow in revelation and understanding (Acts 20:32)

- The more you know the better you function

- It is the word you understand that answers to your life and destiny

7) Grow your faith (Matt 9:29)

- If you don't like the place you are in now just grow your faith

- We need to keep strengthening our Altars

Case study

- God will strengthen your altar in order for you to fight your ultimate battles

- That's where we get the saying from the Apostle 'don't confront what you won't conquer' > this simply means you can feel the level you are operating on in the spiritual realm and sometimes for you to conquer the giants ahead of you your altar would need to be a giant kind of altar if not be patient and build up your altar.
