Cy: Roedd hi'n sefyll gyda'i ffrindiau, Dafydd a Cerys, ar lethr bryn.
En: She was standing with her friends, Dafydd and Cerys, on the slope of a hill.

Cy: Islaw, roedd Abaty Valle Crucis yn cysgu.
En: Below, Valle Crucis Abbey lay sleeping.

Cy: Byth ers y plentyn, bu son am drysor cudd yma.
