An Issachar People

What does it look like to understand the times we are living in—and to know how God is calling us to respond?

In 1 Chronicles 12:32, the sons of Issachar were recognised as people who “understood the times and knew what Israel should do.” They carried more than an awareness of what was happening around them. They had the discernment, wisdom, and courage required to respond to their moment.

God is forming an Issachar people today—a people who are not driven by fear, cultural pressure, or the loudest voices around them, but who are deeply attentive to what the Spirit is saying. True discernment is not simply recognising the season; it is allowing revelation to shape how we live, pray, lead, and act.

In Julian's message, you’ll discover:

• What it means to understand the times from a Kingdom perspective
• Why discernment must lead to obedience and action
• How intimacy with God enables us to recognise what He is doing
• The difference between reacting to culture and responding to the Spirit
• Why wisdom is essential for navigating seasons of change
• How God prepares His people before significant moments
• The importance of becoming a people—not simply individuals—who carry understanding
• How to live with courage, clarity, and faith in uncertain times

We are not called to withdraw from the world, become overwhelmed by it, or simply observe what is happening. We are called to recognize the activity of God, partner with His purposes, and faithfully represent His Kingdom in our generation.

Because an Issachar people do more than know what time it is—they know what faithfulness requires in that time.
