Hu: Az őszi napfény lágyan besütött a nagycsaládi ház ablakán Budapesten.
En: The autumn sunlight softly shone through the window of the large family house in Budapest.

Hu: Az udvaron aranysárga levelek szőnyege terült el, a hűvös szellő időnként felkapott párat, hogy könnyed táncba vigye őket.
En: In the yard, a carpet of golden leaves lay spread out, occasionally swept up by the cool breeze to take them into a light dance.

Hu: Bent a házban meleg és barátságos fények világították meg a szobákat.
En: Inside the house, warm and friendly lights illuminated the rooms.

Hu: Zsófia éppen az utolsó simításokat végezte a vacsoránál, miközben Gergely látszólag csendesen töprengett a kandalló mellett.
En: Zsófia was just putting the finishing touches on dinner, while Gergely seemed to be quietly pondering by the fireplace.

Hu: - Tudod, nehéz úgy tenni, mintha semmi sem történt volna - mondta Gergely, miközben lassan felállt és a többiek felé fordult.
En: "You know, it's difficult to pretend as if nothing happened," said Gergely, as he slowly stood up and turned towards the others.

Hu: - De próbálkoznunk kell!

Hu: - Zsófia válaszolt, mosolyogva, reménykedve.
En: Zsófia responded, smiling, hopeful.

Hu: - A család összetartása a legfontosabb.
En: "The cohesion of the family is the most important."

Hu: Ahogy a család lassan összegyűlt az étkezőasztal körül, végre megérkezett István is.
En: As the family slowly gathered around the dining table, István finally arrived.

Hu: Ő volt az, akit már évek óta nem láttak.

Hu: Gergely azonban nem tudta elhessegetni a kérdéseket.

En: Why did you distance yourself so?"

Hu: István lassan felnézett, kortyot ivott a borából, mielőtt beszélni kezdett.
En: István slowly looked up, took a sip of his wine before he began to speak.

En: "I didn't want to leave.
