The Batik Factory

Good evening, Dreamer! When I was a child, my family lived on the island of Java for a few years. It was a great experience and I wanted to share another memory from that time with you. You'll hear about our trip to a batik factory, where beautiful cloth is made in the traditional way. I think you'll find it soothing and entertaining. It should be just the thing to help you drift off to sleep or return to sleep, if you have a tendency to walk up in the middle of the night. All you need to do is listen. If you are using these stories to learn English, my pace is nice and slow, and there is usually a transcript provided, depending on which podcast platform you are using.

All my stories are safe for all ages and told from the perspective of a young person, so you can feel good about sharing it with anyone. Thanks to Matt Bowers for my website, and Mark Pottinger for his help with tech.

Time for sweet dreams!

Love always,

Larissa
