JP Miller Had $5.59 Million, a Plane, and 700 Members — Now THIS

Solid Rock's elder Bernard Kenerson sat in leadership meetings and never once saw where the money went. He did not know the ministry held a $429,000 airplane. He did not know 11 vehicles sat on church paper. He did not know his pastor had transferred his own home to the ministry for $70,000 under its taxable value — two months after his wife Mica filed for divorce. The ministry bought the airplane while Kenerson, serving as a pastor, was not paid. He called that "really hurtful."

Mica Miller was found dead on April 27, 2024. By the end of that November, everything Kenerson had not been allowed to see was either gone or being reorganized. The church closed. The school closed. The FBI carried boxes from JP's home. Movers stripped the building and the sign. JP's attorney blamed protesters — but the congregation was the first to leave.

The former Air Force chapel sold for $2.15 million. Eight weeks later it flipped for $2.6 million. Twenty-eight acres of cleared Highway 17 land — $1.2 million in tithes, assessed at over $3 million — transferred to a new entity JP also registered for $5 a parcel. Five new religious entities appeared in state filings within weeks.

JP now preaches in gyms and storefronts with an ankle monitor visible above his left foot. Fifteen to twenty people. His new wife Suzie Skinner leads worship. He has entered a not-guilty plea to federal cyberstalking and false-statement charges and faces trial in the October 2026 term. He has not been charged in Mica Miller's death.
