Eva marched a Stephen King-grade demon clown costume up to the register in a store for kids — and when the manager disagreed that it didn’t belong there, she bought $50 Boden sneakers out of spite for the place. Weeks later, her 6-year-old still won't go to the bathroom alone, because in her mind, the clown lives there now.

Kami, meanwhile, rides the high of the biggest legal win of her life — a court ruling that her former broker owes her over $6k in commission, plus attorney's fees, after she represented herself start to finish. She's 46 and had never set foot in a courtroom before this case, and is already plotting how to pay it forward with a giveaway once the check actually clears.

Eva's face is healing beautifully from her Junera laser treatment (thank-you sneakers included, minus the promised hot-pink laces), and she opens up about the financial advisor who finally got her out of feast-or-famine bookkeeping — plus the story of an offhand comment she made years ago that changed a friend's entire career path into trauma therapy.
