What stood out to me most in this conversation was the bond created through grief—and the strength it takes to keep moving forward while still carrying the love for those we’ve lost.

About Our Guest:

Alana is a vibrant, energetic Jersey girl living with bipolar disorder, openly sharing her story of both her highest highs and her most devastating lows. At just 22 years old, she moved to Los Angeles and became a successful reality TV casting director—but it was also during this time that she first experienced thoughts of suicide.

Alana’s storytelling is incomparable, filled with honesty, humor, and heart. After losing her father to a massive heart attack this past December—and nearly losing her mother to a brain bleed just six weeks later—her life came to a screeching halt. In that pause, she felt God calling her to stop, reflect, and take a different path.

Not knowing exactly where to go next, she started her podcast, “H.O.P.E – Hang On Pain Ends,” where she shares her journey through heartbreak, healing, faith, and rediscovering hope.

Alana is passionate about speaking on mental illness, understanding depression and suicide, finding humor in life’s hardest moments, and believing in what we cannot always see—God, love, and the presence of those we’ve lost.

She is honored to collaborate with Darcie in turning trauma and sadness into healing, faith, and hope.
