He walks through the real math: median household income in America sits around $83,000 a year, and even a physician earning $700,000 or more is still earning several multiples of that. Jim shares his own early-career reality, a modest starter home in a rough neighborhood and a car with no working air conditioning, to make the case that the fundamentals of building wealth on a physician income haven't changed, even as costs have risen.
