Michael Redlick: “A Controversial Marriage” | MURDERISH Ep. 115

Danielle Drohan was in her early twenties when she married a man more than 20 years older. The age gap wasn't the unusual part, though. Her husband, Michael Redlick, had previously been her stepfather. Against all odds, their controversial and rocky marriage lasted nearly two decades. It would all come to a grinding halt on January 11, 2019. That night, after a vicious argument, Michael was found dead in their million-dollar riverfront home. Was this deadly event the culmination of years of abuse? Or did something more sinister play a role in Michael’s death? When a verdict was handed down, people on both sides of the tragedy were left in shock. Check us out: Visit Murderish.com for more info about the show and Creator/Host, Jami. Corrine Erstad | MURDERISH Ep. 033

This case brings us to the Twin Cities in Minnesota. It was the early 1990s when a young girl went missing ... just yards away from her home. Authorities would zero in on a suspect fairly quickly, and make an arrest. But laws were different then, and perhaps, if this crime had occurred in the present day ….the outcome may have been vastly different. Join me, as I walk you through a tragic case of Corrine Erstad. The “Smoked” Murders | MURDERISH Ep. 31

The “Smoked” Murders | MURDERISH Ep. 31

The triple homicide, known as the “Halloween Massacre,” occurred in Pasadena, California in 1993. As rare as violent crimes are in Pasadena, the Halloween Massacre was the second triple homicide in the City in less than a three-year time span. On Friday, March 22, 1991, at about 2:30 in the morning, Pasadena police received a call asking them to do a welfare check at a posh home located on the 1300th block of Fairlawn Way. Officers arrived about 18 minutes later to find three deceased teenage girls. The brutal crime scene would haunt the lead detective until his dying day. In this episode of Murderish, I’ll walk you through the tragic murder of three teenagers, a crime for which no motive was ever uncovered. MURDERISH now has a Patreon page. The Wichita Massacre | MURDERISH Ep. 030

The Wichita Massacre | MURDERISH Ep. 030

Just seven days after a quadruple homicide in Wichita, Kansas, a second would take place. This crime, known as The Wichita Massacre, would become one of the most famous crimes in the history of Kansas, along with those committed by infamous serial killer, Dennis Rader (known as BTK). Between December 7 and December 14, 2000, two brothers, Reginald and Jonathan Carr, went on a robbery, rape and murder spree in Wichita. The Carr brothers inflicted great pain and suffering upon their victims, and their victims’ families. However, from this terrible tragedy, arose a story of tremendous triumph, and, of all things …love. MURDERISH now has a Patreon page. Kelly Ann Tinyes | MURDERISH Ep. 027

13 year old, Kelly Ann Tinyes, walked down the street to her neighbor’s house in Valley Stream, New York. The young girl was never seen alive again. When police found her body, they could have never prepared themselves for what they were about to witness. The trial was filled with outbursts of emotion from the gallery, while the defendant kept his head down most of the time. A juror who sat on the trial shared insight with me, and also spoke about how the months-long trial affected her. This brutal murder would pit two families against each other ….for decades.
