Curmudgeon’s Corner 70: Josh V - IAMJOSHV

Saturday, December 13th on Curmudgeon’s Corner, we’re joined by one of the true architects of modern detailing education… Josh V — better known as IMJOSHV.

With 246,000+ subscribers, 770+ videos, and more than a decade of teaching real-world detailing, Josh has become one of the most trusted and authentic voices in the industry. From interior repair and reconditioning, to business strategy, to brutally honest product reviews — his work has shaped a generation of detailers.

But tonight, we’re going deeper than technique.

We’re talking about:

👉 Growing up in Southern California

👉 Surf culture, sponsorships, and the California beach life

👉 How those early years built discipline, resilience, and identity

👉 The transition from surfing → detailing

👉 Building one of YouTube’s longest-standing detailing channels

👉 The mental battles behind entrepreneurship

👉 Burnout, self-doubt, and the moments that almost made him quit

👉 What it really takes to keep going when life gets heavy

👉 The story behind DTLR Supply

👉 Fatherhood, purpose, and long-term legacy

Curmudgeon’s Corner isn’t just a detailing show — it’s about the people behind the polish. The ones fighting through life, business, stress, motivation, and the weight no one sees.

If Josh has ever taught you something… if his videos have helped you grow your business… or if you’ve ever felt alone in the grind… tonight’s conversation is for you.

Catch it LIVE — Saturday, Dec 13th @ 8pm Eastern.
