Disneyland Farts, a Deadly DWJ & Diarrhea Dash to Victory | Heightened Babble episode 40

Brad and JB kick off episode 40 by celebrating National Noodle Day, National Coaches Day, and German-American Day — which JB promptly rebrands as "JB Ball Day" in honor of his own German heritage, leading into a detour about his actual citizenship status and a Dennis Schröder tangent. They give a happy birthday shoutout to WWE's The Miz, sharing surprisingly wholesome details about his real-life relationship, before diving into Tall Tales Tour announcements for upcoming stops in Ithaca, Stamford, and Charlestown. In "First Class Mail," JB finds himself on the defensive after an avalanche of listener backlash over his controversial claim that NASCAR isn't a "real" sport, reigniting the ongoing "what counts as a sport" debate from previous episodes. The hosts then move into lighter territory with a roundup of cats that resemble dictators (and a new category: cats that look like Steve Buscemi), before diving into a batch of listener-submitted stories. These include deeply unfortunate childhood nicknames like "Cummins" and "Comey," an aunt's unexpectedly impressive tennis showdown with Billie Jean King, a Disneyland cast member's infamous fart-on-a-baby incident, and a chaotic funeral story involving a Sonic drive-thru death and a disastrously mistranslated rendition of "Stairway to Heaven" played in Portuguese. The "Two Tall Tales" segment closes out the episode with two stranger-than-fiction news stories: a Detroit man whose cause of death is almost too outrageous to say out loud, and an Australian fitness competitor who had an "involuntary" bowel incident mid-competition — and tried to keep competing (and claim victory) anyway. Along the way, producer Isaac drops an unexpected personal confession that catches both hosts off guard.Follow us on social media!Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/heightenedbabblepodcast/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@heightenedbabblepodcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/Heightened-Babble-Podcast/61585004459148/X: https://x.com/heightenedbabblBrad's YouTube: @BradWilliamsComedy Brad's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bradwilliamscomicJB's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jbballcomedy Chapter Markers00:00 – Cold open & intro to episode 4003:48 – National Noodle Day & Coaches Day06:17 – JB Ball Day (German-American Day) & citizenship talk10:38 – The Miz birthday & love story12:30 – Tall Tales Tour dates announced18:08 – Death by Dwarf hot sauce sponsor bit20:14 – First Class Mail: NASCAR "what is a sport" debate27:20 – Dictator cats & Steve Buscemi cats30:33 – Weird uncle nicknames ("Cummins"/"Comey")37:12 – Embarrassing childhood nicknames38:14 – Disneyland fart-on-a-baby story43:38 – Sonic drive-thru death funeral story49:13 – Portuguese "Stairway to Heaven" funeral mishap57:52 – Two Tall Tales: pantsless driver death story1:02:03 – Producer Isaac's confession1:10:21 – Fitness competition "explosive" victory story1:17:45 – Episode wrap-up & sign-off### Tags/Hashtags#HeightenedBabble #BradWilliams #JBBall #ComedyPodcast #FirstClassMail #TwoTallTales #TrueStory #FunnyStories #TallTalesTour #ComedyDuoHeightened Babble is what happens when two stand-up comedians who couldn’t be built more differently take on the world one ridiculous conversation at a time.
