Green Party's 'Zionism is Racism' Vote Fuels Outrage

This episode of Israel Today: Ongoing War Report covers escalating tensions and significant developments. We begin with the UK Green Party's controversial 'Zionism is racism' motion, which has triggered an Israeli ban on its leader and international condemnation. Paris authorities have prohibited a demonstration planned for the October 7th anniversary due to security risks and high antisemitism levels, while London imposes conditions on protests. A new JPR study shows British Jews' strong emotional attachment to Israel post-October 7, alongside heightened concerns over antisemitism. Israel's National Security Council warns of increased attack risks by Iran, its proxies, and Hamas ahead of the anniversary, while officials prepare for potential election disruption. Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened an 'all-out campaign' against the Palestinian Authority and warned of a Hamas plot in Gaza. Domestically, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich advocates for voluntary Gazan migration and sovereignty, and the IDF prepares for its first female tank company and resumes draft evader enforcement.
