Judge Pratt Told Caleb Flynn What She Thinks. Then Gave Him Life.

Before sentencing Caleb Flynn, Judge Jeannine Pratt spoke directly to the former worship leader convicted of killing his wife. She told him he poses the highest risk to the community and called his actions abhorrent. She said the layers of deceit in the case are impossible to fathom. She reminded him that Ashley Flynn died in her own home and told him he could have simply left the marriage. Through greed and lust, she said, he chose to take Ashley's life instead. She told him he was the one who was supposed to protect his children and that he shattered their lives. She asked him one question the court said it could not answer and then delivered his sentence. Flynn was convicted on all nine counts for shooting Ashley in the back of the head while she slept and staging a break-in. The defense has filed notice of appeal.
