Christy Carlson Romano: Confessions of a Teenage Disney Queen

What happens when a Disney darling trades her squeaky-clean image for a tell-all? Christy Carlson Romano joins Scheana to spill on her revealing new memoir, Once Upon a Trainwreck, and let's just say, Ren Stevens had a MUCH wilder life off camera!

From wild nights at Paris Hilton’s parties to navigating Hollywood’s notorious nightlife scene, Christy pulls back the curtain on the dark side of growing up in the spotlight. She dishes on her complicated history with Shia LaBeouf, the Hilary Duff rivalry, missed opportunities that could have changed the trajectory of her career, and why she's catching heat for naming names in her own life story.

Plus, the surprising story behind her famous stage name, how she nearly became a Real Housewife, and whether the PTA moms will look at her differently after reading the book. But behind the Hollywood gossip are some much darker chapters, as Christy opens up about toxic relationships, family wounds, and the terrifying shooting that nearly cost her life. She also reveals how her mother reacted to the memoir, why she's done protecting everyone else's feelings, and the lessons she hopes her daughters take away from her story. Turns out, playing the good girl on Disney Channel was one thing — surviving Hollywood and learning to stop playing that role in real life was another story entirely.
