The Cote Photo: Interview with Director Adam Pillon | UAP Ep. 183

On September 4, 1971, a Costa Rican government mapping aircraft captured one of the most extraordinary UFO photographs ever recorded. Nobody aboard the plane saw the mysterious disc-shaped object. It wasn't discovered until the photographs were examined later.

More than five decades later, the mystery of Frame 300 continues.

In Uncover Anomalies Podcast Episode 183, Adam sits down with filmmaker Adam Pillon, co-director of The Cote Photo, a documentary exploring the famous Lago de Cote UFO photograph, the original photographic negative, and the remarkable people connected to the case.

Directed by husband-and-wife filmmaking team Adam Pillon and Megan Woomer Pillon, the film follows Costa Rican attorney and UAP researcher Esteban Carranza as he investigates the photograph's history and builds a relationship with Sergio Loaiza, the cartographer aboard the aircraft that captured the image.

We discuss:

• The extraordinary circumstances surrounding the 1971 Lago de Cote UFO photograph

• How the original negative survived and what modern high-resolution scanning revealed

• The scientific investigations involving Jacques Vallée and Richard Haines

• Sergio Loaiza's firsthand testimony and his reported encounters with mysterious beings

• Accounts of apparent healings, strange visitors, and unusual experiences around Lago de Cote

• The challenges of investigating UFO evidence more than 50 years after the event

• What Adam Pillon personally believes after making the documentary

Is Frame 300 one of the strongest photographic cases in UFO history? What can the original negative tell us, and how much of the mystery remains unresolved?

Join us for a fascinating conversation about UFO photography, documentary filmmaking, witness testimony, and the enduring mysteries of Costa Rica.
