Dua Lipa Biography Flash: Samsung Lawsuit Coachella Buzz and New Music Secrets

Dua Lipa Biography Flash a weekly Biography. Dua Lipa has had a busy few days, with fashion, music, business, and a potentially important legal battle all making headlines. According to Hello Magazine, Dua shared an Instagram photo series on October 15 featuring a dramatic backless black gown, a vintage Gucci belt from Tom Ford’s 1996 era, and her first baseball game. She attended with her husband, actor Callum Turner, wearing a burgundy Chanel jacket. The appearance offered another glimpse into the couple’s increasingly public married life. Dua also gave followers a look at her current literary interests. Yahoo Entertainment reports that her latest reading list includes several poetry collections, continuing the cultural work associated with Service95, her book and lifestyle platform. That activity reinforces her growing identity not only as a pop star, but also as a curator of books, ideas, and creative communities. The most consequential business story is her dispute with Samsung. SammyFans reports that Dua’s lawyers are opposing Samsung’s attempt to dismiss her fifteen million dollar image rights lawsuit. She alleges that a photograph taken backstage at Austin City Limits was used on television packaging in a way that could suggest an endorsement. Samsung denies intentional wrongdoing and says a third party assured the company that permissions were secured. The judge has not yet ruled, so the claims remain disputed. Music speculation is also building. Female First, citing The Sun’s Bizarre column, says Dua is reportedly in advanced talks to headline Coachella in 2027. The same report links her to a possible fourth studio album and a major stadium campaign. No official confirmation has been announced, so this remains unconfirmed. On October 18, the Malay Mail reported that Dua was expected at the Metropolitan Opera’s New York premiere of Lincoln in the Bardo. That appearance would add another high profile cultural event to her recent public schedule. Finally, Rolling Stone coverage quoted Jennie discussing their collaboration Handlebars, saying the pair developed the track despite never recording vocals in the same room. Dua also shared studio images this week, suggesting that new music remains part of her active plans, though no release date has been confirmed. Thank you for listening.
