Sandra Birchmore, Anna Kepner and Bryan Kohberger: Whose Brother Got a Deal?

The brother of the man on trial for killing Sandra Birchmore got a deal before he testified. William Farwell, Matthew Farwell's twin and a former Stoughton officer, took the stand for the prosecution under a grant of immunity.

He testified their relationship began in 2018, when Sandra was an adult, and admitted some of it happened while he was on duty.

Sandra's medical examiner testified her office was never called to the apartment where Sandra was found.

In federal court, Timothy Hudson's lawyers say one pending issue must be settled before they can advise him whether to plead guilty in Anna Kepner's death. The judge set January 15, 2027, as his deadline.

Bryan Kohberger told the judge at his plea that he was satisfied with his attorneys. His petition claims those same attorneys coerced him.
