Rest Well, Sir Patrick Stewart

Sir Patrick Stewart died October 28 at his home in Los Angeles. He was 86, and his final performance as Charles Xavier arrives December 18 in Avengers: Doomsday.

This Headlines is a short tribute. Frank starts with the two leaders people know him for, Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Professor X in the X-Men films, then hands you a watch list for tonight. From there he goes to the roles that come up less often: Captain Ahab in the 1998 Moby Dick miniseries and Ebenezer Scrooge in the 1999 A Christmas Carol. It closes on Avengers: Doomsday, where Stewart plays Xavier one last time.
