The global letter-writing campaign organized by the Watchtower, Bible & Tract Society, Inc., is risky. Because asking Jehovah's Witnesses to share personally identifiable information with strangers is quite dangerous. In the world of technology, a quick Google search can have an individual at your doorstep in no time. Therefore, Jehovah's Witnesses should be mindful of using their personal information when sending out letters or other Watchtower correspondence. The Watchtower gives explicit instructions to their members on how to disseminate information. They do not want the general public to insinuate that the material is coming directly from Watchtower headquarters. As a result, the individual Jehovah's Witness assumes all of the blame. Thus, putting their families in danger if individuals are not receptive to their message.
