Skid Row & Dave Mustaine

Skid Row officially welcomes Justin Sargent as their new lead singer. The New Jersey native and Broadway veteran, known for his work in Rock of Ages, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, and Jesus Christ Superstar, talks about the surreal experience of joining one of his favorite bands. Snake Sabo discusses the meticulous search process and why chemistry mattered just as much as vocal ability. The band debuts their powerful cover of The Who's 'Won't Get Fooled Again,' chosen by Justin for its personal significance. With 15 tour dates already announced for 2027, including a March 5th debut in Rancho Mirage, California, Skid Row is ready to hit the road again after an extended hiatus. New original music is also in the works. After that, Megadeth's Dave Mustaine joins the podcast to discuss his powerful new book 'In My Darkest Hour,' which chronicles his battle with throat cancer and the road to recovery. Dave shares intimate details about his diagnosis, treatment, and the support he received from fellow musicians like Bruce Dickinson and Ozzy Osbourne. He talks about the recent tour opening for Iron Maiden, how his doctor contributed lyrics to a Megadeth song, and the physical challenges he's currently facing with his hand that could impact the band's future.
