Savitha Ravi has a degree in Bachelor of Commerce after which she did her Technical Communication from the University of California, Berkeley. She has completed the certified training in Inclusive Education, Early Intervention and pre-primary Montessori Education. She completed her certification from the Cambridge International Diploma in Teaching and Learning (CIDTL). After working in schools like Kensri Academy of Excellence, Head Start Montessori House of Children with children from varied backgrounds and age groups, she has now Co-founded Pramiti School which is an inclusive school that has learners from pre-school to Grade 12. She is also the Co-founder of Ekayana Learners Huddle Pvt. Ltd. that works towards using Science as a base of education right from pre-school years. She was awarded by the Brindavan Education Trust for her contributions and outstanding work in the field of inclusion. She has conducted several workshops and developed curriculum for various subjects across varied age groups. She has also conducted the Mock United Nations at Kensri Academy of Excellence and worked closely to develop the International Baccalaureate Curriculum. She participates in conferences, seminars and panel discussion that encourage interdisciplinary learning and inclusive education. She also trains passionate individuals in developing interdisciplinary teaching methods and curriculum. She believes in the joy of learning and will continue her work with children and adults to spread education as means of learning to live together and work together in harmony. She believes in inclusion of people, methods, ideas, thoughts and processes that have the common goal of helping every child to learn effectively and joyfully. She encourages learners to question, wonder, explore and find answers while strengthening their skills of observation, self-assessment, thus enabling them to be proactive learners.
