Chelsea Will Shamu You (Tritype 853)

Chelsea. Tritype 853. Venus fly trap, the ultimate predator, whale-whisperer… The are all terms that can be used for Chelsea, and I’m pretty confident they can be applied to all 835s. Chelsea‘s friends joke that she has a way of Shamuing them— training behaviour to get the outcome she wants. Between the magnetism of the 8, the adaptable shininess of the 3, and the wealth of data points that come from five as they observe other people, these 8s draw in whoever they want to draw in (and steer clear of whoever they want to steer clear of.) All the skills they have at their disposal they use to assess who they want to come closer and who they want to keep at a distance. They are extremely effective at it. And while it sounds a little scary and manipulative we know what’s at the heart of an 8. It’s about feeling free, independent, like we’re steering our own ship. This is really about these 8s wanting to be safe. Postscript for your episode: “I know this is not for a grade, but the overanalyzing, overachieving part of me wants to let you know what I decided I want 8s to know-I read a quote once saying “I suppose a fire that burns that bright is not meant to last.” I think (especially with an 8-3-+ tritype) we tend to go pretty hard, nonstop, and it’s okay to slow down, it’s okay to take care of yourself.
