In a surprising turn of events, Rex A. Heuermann, the alleged Gilgo Beach serial killer, received a visit from his estranged wife, Asa Ellerup, at the Suffolk County Jail in Riverhead on Wednesday. This visit, confirmed by Ellerup's divorce attorney, Bob Macedonio, marks the first time she has visited Heuermann since filing for divorce just six days after his arrest on first- and second-degree murder charges in connection with the killings of three women.    "I can confirm that Asa did visit with Rex yesterday," stated Macedonio in response to inquiries. However, he did not provide any further comments regarding the visit. On the other hand, jail spokesperson Victoria DiStefano neither denied nor confirmed Ellerup's visit but did mention, "As per policy, we do not release the names of visitors, but I can confirm that Rex Heuermann received a visit yesterday."    Heuermann's defense attorney, Michael J. Brown, has not responded to messages seeking comment on this unexpected visit. Brown had previously mentioned that Ellerup had been in telephonic communication with Heuermann while he has been incarcerated.    The 60-year-old former Manhattan architect has been held without bail since his arrest in connection with the killings of Megan Waterman, Melissa Barthelemy, and Amber Lynn Costello. All three women's remains were discovered near Gilgo Beach more than a decade ago. Heuermann has pleaded not guilty to these charges.    Prosecutors have further implicated Heuermann as the prime suspect in the slaying of Maureen Brainard-Barnes, whose remains were discovered alongside those of the other three victims. All four women, who were sex workers, were among the first of 10 sets of remains found along Ocean Parkway, believed to be the work of one or more serial killers.    Despite the ongoing legal battles and the gravity of the charges, Heuermann is not contesting the divorce proceedings initiated by Ellerup, which are still pending.    The unexpected visit raises questions about the relationship between Heuermann and Ellerup, who chose to file for divorce shortly after her husband's arrest. "Could Rex Heuermann, the alleged Gilgo Beach murderer, have more secrets buried than initially perceived?"   The Gilgo Beach murders have long left a cloud of mystery over Long Island, NY, with Rex Heuermann being accused as the infamous serial killer. However, new revelations and testimonies have surfaced, hinting at more potential murders. The defense attorney representing some of the victims has provided shocking details, linking Heuermann with two other possible connections: Richard Allen and a series of confessions.    In the recent episode of the "Hidden Killers" podcast, host Tony Brueski sat down with Jennifer Coffindaffer, a retired FBI Special Agent, to discuss these unsettling findings. Witnesses, particularly former sex workers, have given sworn testimonies stating that they had direct interactions with Richard Allen, alleging their participation in his sex parties. As discussed on the "Hidden Killers" podcast with Tony Brueski and Forensic Psychologist Joni Johnston, some former sex workers claimed to recognize Heuermann, describing him as an easily distinguishable figure. More chillingly, they described occasions when he would take them to his house, specifically to the basement, for sex parties, while his wife stayed upstairs. As Brueski highlighted, "But the allegations are that she was very aware of what was going on."    Asa Heuermann has thus far claimed ignorance of any sinister activities. Recent allegations unearthed on the podcast "Hidden Killers" hosted by Tony Brueski raise this very question, bringing to the fore claims about Rex Heuermann, a figure mired in controversy, and pointing to a grim underground world of sinister liaisons.    Defense attorney John Ray, representing some of the victims from Gilgo Beach, unveiled claims connecting Heuermann to sexual escapades that ranged from swinger parties to other non-conventional acts. These allegations do more than just paint a scandalous picture of Heuermann; they potentially tie him closer to a series of unsolved murders.    Tony Brueski remarked on the gravity of these revelations, stating, "Certainly it puts him in the circle. Of this swinger sex community. Does that then tie him closer to these potential his name to these murders? I sure think so."    It's not just the nature of the alleged activities that makes these claims significant. Heuermann's unique physical appearance, far from being a typical "five-foot-seven Joe", made him notably memorable to some witnesses.
