Investigative journalist and best-selling author Max Blumenthal recently published an explosive 8,000-word investigation on the "green" billionaires, Wall Street investors, industry insiders and family foundations' coordinated suppression campaign against the film "Planet of the Humans." The film, Directed by Jeff Gibbs and Executive Produced by Michael Moore, has now reached over 12 million viewers on YouTube, but was the subject of a campaign that civil liberties group PEN America twice rebuked as "censorship." Blumenthal joins Michael to discuss why he turned his attention to this issue, what he learned about the billionaire financial backers and family foundations that underpin elements of the environmental movement, and how some environmental groups now serve to "greenwash" the reputations of large corporations that make cosmetic changes while still ruining the planet.
