Squad Goals: The Circle of Positive People

Hi, I'm Charlotte, and this is Revelation, brought to you by hey revel dot com. Today I want to talk about the importance of surrounding yourself with positive people.

I'm sure we've all had moments where we felt like something was "wrong" but were not quite sure what it was—and then suddenly, someone was there to tell us that everything was going to be okay. Or maybe a friend just had an uncanny ability to read our minds and know exactly what we needed to hear at that moment.

What's interesting is that these people seem to have an uncanny ability to make us feel better, even when they don't say anything at all. They just show up, and somehow make the situation better. How do they do it?

Well, here's what I've found: it's not really their words that matter so much as their presence. When you're around someone who makes you feel good about yourself—even if you don't realize it until later—it has an effect on your entire body system. You start releasing more endorphins-the happy chemicals, which help alleviate stress and make you more resilient in general. So if you're feeling down or stressed out, find someone who can help lift your spirits

The next time you're feeling down, take a moment to remind yourself of the people you surround yourself with. Are they positive? Do they bring out the best in you? Or are they dragging you down and making you feel bad about yourself?

If it's the latter, choose to spend more time around those who make you feel like the best version of yourself. It can be really easy to get caught up in the negative energy of others. But if you want to live a good life and be happy, it's important to make sure that you're surrounded by people who lift you up and support you.

Sometimes this means taking a break from friendships that are doing more harm than good. It might also mean putting some boundaries around your relationships—and even just setting some boundaries for yourself.

It can be hard to make changes when it comes to the way we spend our time and spend our energy, but it's worth it! Be kind to yourself by making sure that you're around the right people for your mental health and well-being!
