S05 E30: The Sin of Scandal

Nakaka-iskandalo? Ano nga ba ang ibig sabihin nito? Alam niyo ba na kasalanan ang "scandal"? Baka ginagawa na pala natin ito, hindi pa natin alam. Paano makakaiwas sa sin na ito? Makinig sa latest episode of THE JAY ARUGA SHOW.

Dito ay pinagusapan natin ang Superbowl ng mga kaibigan natin sa Pride movement--- ang Miss Universe 2023 (pero hindi extensive discussion ha). Dahil may dalawang kasaling trans women sa pageant, napunta ang usapan sa sagot ng Dicastery of the Doctrine of the Faith tungkol sa dubia sa pag-bautismo at pag-aanak sa kasal ng isang transsexual. May isang qualifier dun na tila na-miss ng news--- "pastoral prudence" is required to avoid the "danger of scandal" or confusion among the faithful. Then after ng mahabang intro, pinagusapan din natin ang sin of scandal. In a nutshell, ayon sa CCC, scandal is an attitude or behavior which leads another to do evil. May dalawang klase ng scandal, active at passive. Baka hindi natin alam, ilan sa mga ginagawa at sinasabi natin sa social media ay nakakapagpa-layo na ng kapwa natin sa Body of Christ, hindi man ito active scandal.
