Newman and Brian J. Holoyda, whom co=authored a review related to his interests in sleep medicine and forensics entitled “Sexsomnia as a Defense in Repeated Sex Crimes”.     Amir presented his work alongside an expert panel consisting of forensic psychiatrists at the American Psychiatric Association 175th Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA. She is the founder and CEO of the Advanced Mental Health Training Institute and Co-Director of Modern Sex Therapy Institutes which provide continuing education, certifications, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology to Mental Health and Medical professionals and Sex Therapists around the world.     Dr. Needle has presented her research and clinical work at national and international conferences. She is often interviewed by and quoted in national media outlets. She has been featured in a number of popular magazines such as Details, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Details, and Shape, and papers including the Washington Post and the Palm Beach Post.
