Episode 114: Heart in the Workplace with Claude Silver

In today's episode, I talk to Claude Silver, Chief Heart Officer of VaynerMedia about how to create a compassionate and connected company culture. Claude shares various programming that has worked to keep the global media company connected as well as discusses the importance of investing in the "we." Claude shares how in order to focus on speed as an important ROI, culture needs to be emphasized. There needs to be connection and psychological safety. We discuss the importance of words and intention mattering so that company culture can truly "walk their talk" instead of checking a box. Take a listen and share this episode with your favorite co-worker.

Are you interested in offering your team and company culture more opportunities to build meaningful connection? Explore the variety of ways Wade works with teams to strengthen individual and relational mindfulness skills in order to enhance well-being in the modern day workplace.

*****

Coaching. Team-building. Leading with Heart. Performance maximization. Those are just a few of the skills Claude Silver first honed back in her days of running an adventure and surf company in San Francisco. Today she leverages those skills in a very different setting.

As VaynerMedia's (and the World's) first Chief Heart Officer, Claude is known for taking a particularly human approach to Leadership and "HR", unlocking employees' potential by forming close person-to-person connections, fostering an inclusive culture, empowering purpose-driven teams, and imbuing the entire organization with an infectious optimism. Silver's three-decade career includes leadership positions at major advertising agencies and consultative engagements with a variety of other corporate clients.
