Correction: Ronli Ratliff's body was discovered beside a couch, not atop a couch.In the early morning hours of April 15, 2004, firefighters discovered a body of a young woman in a house in Indiana's Morgan County. That young woman was 24-year-old Ronli Ratliff. Investigators quickly determined that she had been the victim of a homicide, but no one has ever been charged with her murder. All these years later, her aunt Kim Sink is still fighting for justice. In 1982, seven people died in Chicago after taking Tylenol capsules injected with potassium cyanide. An investigation into the seemingly random poisonings carried on for decades. No one was ever convicted of the Tylenol murders. But many in law enforcement believed that they had a decent circumstantial case against James Lewis. A longtime con man, Lewis was convicted of attempting to extort Johnson & Johnson, the company behind Tylenol. He had a troubled past, including one other murder charge where he walked after a Miranda violation. He also had a penchant for taunting investigators. On July 9, 2023, Lewis was found dead.
