55. Debunking Misconceptions About Prayer

Prayer is a great tool for growing closer to Jesus. Sometimes, we can have misconceptions about prayer. How can those effect the way that we view God? I get into that in today's episode and specifically address how we can experience prayer when in the middle of a storm. Sometimes we can feel like God is far away, dormant, not listening, or maybe even that he doesn't care. What is really going on in those times?

Something that I have come to see is that God is so much more involved than we sometimes think. He is working and doing immeasurably more right where we are; whether that's in the middle of our darkest moments or at any other time of our lives. He cares so deeply about our hearts- the very core of who we are and is so present with us even when he might feel far.
