Maydan - Absolute Isolation EP (inc. Danny Lloyd and Ian Dillon remixes) After recent his appearances on Sudbeat, Incorrect and Movement, Tel Aviv-based Maydan is back on his home base Asymmetric with two hot new original tracks. Recently giving up his 4 year long residency at The Cat & The Dog Club in order to concentrate on the studio work, he is a unique artist in his own right starting to cause quite the fuss in dance music nowadays. Absolute Isolation is groovy and emotional. Shrouded in warm pads and atmospheric fx’s with deep baseline and full of embellishments he is carefully blending old school Progressive sounds with a modern agenda. Italian producer Danny Lloyd safely lands back on Asymmetric and he is the first to provide his interpretation of Absolute Isolation. He takes it to a Progressive realm full of excitement and warmth while elevating the chord progression and putting his trademark sound on display. Next is a UK based DJ and producer Ian Dillon, for whom it is the first appearance on the label. His approach is more minimal, focusing on a big and exploding breakdown, driving arpeggios and masterfully crafted fx details. The ep comes to finale with Breathless, an energetic and full of deepness gem, with tasty leads and passionate melodies. A fine collection of International talent thrusting the underground with positive vibes and dance floor goodness.
