Hi guys, welcome back to the podcast. Choosing the perfect career is a daunting task. Your interests and potential salary are some of the most important factors to consider. So, if you have to choose, why not pick one of the highest paying jobs that hold your interest?

Through today's podcast I will be taking you through the following jobs -

  1. Surgeon - In the United States, a general surgeon can earn around $325,000 per year. Similarly, Canadian general surgeons make around $310,000 a year. In Europe, general surgeons aren’t paid as much and get approximately $99,697 in the United Kingdom.
  2. Dentist - Dentistry is the second profession on this list of highest paying jobs as they make around $165,000 annually in the United States. In the UK, they earn $93,466 on an average. Furthermore, Canadian dentists can expect to earn as much as $120,792 a year.
  3. Engineering manager - Engineering managers earn $125,000 in the US, $85,309 in Canada and $66,049 in the UK. Some Canadian engineering managers make more than $190,000 per annum.
  4. IT systems manager - In the US, IT system managers can expect to earn $90,000, whereas Canadian IT managers make up to $67,191 every year. In the UK, their salaries run at an average of $53,587.
  5. Corporate lawyer - As a successful corporate lawyer, you can get as much as $130,000 in the US. However, corporate lawyers in Canada earn a relatively lower salary and get $ 93, 614 USD a year. In the UK, corporate lawyers make $92,593.
  6. Marketing manager - They work on the development and implementation of marketing plans for their organization. On average, marketing managers earn $102,000. In the USA, the median salary is $70,000, $45,486 in the UK, and $52,846 Canada.
  7. Airline captain - Experienced airline captains are highly sought-after by leading airline companies in the US and UK. These professionals can earn as much as $157,000 in the US and around $56,621 in Canada. In the UK, these airline captains can earn a whopping $130,852 per annum.
  8. Senior data scientist - They provide advanced expertise in business development and is one of the highest paying jobs in the world. These professionals can expect to make $105,000 a year in the US, $53,587 in the UK. In Canada, data scientists can get around $62,812.
  9. Software engineer - A skilled senior software engineer can earn $120,000 in the USA and $63,556 in the UK. Senior software engineers in Canada can make $75,495 per year.
  10. Investment banker - Investment bankers in the USA earn about $85,000 a year. On the other hand, investment bankers in the UK and Canada make up to $62,310 and $64,171, respectively.
