Earth Ancients, The Quarantine Series: The Crop Circle Connection

Colin Andrews
Best known for his research into the crop circles, UFO and Consciousness subjects since 1983. He
provides the only continuity between the past crop circle research era and the present, along with his friend and colleague, Busty Taylor. His long view of both the genuine phenomenon and the human-made the phenomenon provides unique insight into the subject. His research results indicate the intelligence behind the phenomenon is interacting with both crop circle researchers and many of the people who make them.

He has publicly stated since the late 1980’s that the phenomenon indicates a future period of human chaos. The period indicated, supported by current trends, can be changed with human awareness and he believes there are serious eco-political implications and that the future direction of the planet is at the center of the phenomenon. In the final analysis, Andrews believes the phenomenon is challenging people to a higher level of consciousness. Some native elders agree with Colin’s assessment which is supported by the 2012 Mayan Prophecy, which his latest book, along with his wife, speaks: 'The Complete Idiots Guide to 2012'.
Colin’s thirty-year investigation continues with growing urgency for openness and honesty in government and private research, respect for divergent opinions and co-operation between investigators in all areas.

Michael Jaye, Ph.D.: The Worldwide Flood

Michael Jaye, Ph.D.: The Worldwide Flood

Two hundred years ago, geologists determined that there was never a worldwide flood. But the early geologists’ conclusion—which continues to be believed today—is indisputably erroneous, according to Michael Jaye, Ph.D.Told in easily understood language, Jaye explains how geologists got it so wrong, and more importantly, he challenges their modern-day peers to examine foundational beliefs, especially in the presence of new map data. Along the way, he identifies and rectifies geology’s historic error and its consequences, answering questions such as:• Why do geologists believe that there was never a worldwide flood? How is this belief erroneous?• How did submerged structures like Monterey Canyon form? What process do geologists ascribe to their formation?• In what way are Google Earth and Google Maps similar to Galileo’s telescope? With new map data revealing submerged rivers in more than two miles of water, it’s clear that such a volume could only have a cosmic source.Jaye identifies the impact remnants, and he explains how its effects irreversibly changed Earth’s ecosystem. Humans are among surviving species, but we find ourselves ill-adapted to the post-flood ecosystem.Discover a historical, scientific, and philosophical treatment of The Worldwide Flood—it will forever change the way you consider Earth and human history.Michael Jaye, Ph.D., recently retired as an associate professor at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. He previously spent fifteen years teaching mathematics and its applications at West Point, New York. His interest in the worldwide flood began with Google Maps images of the Monterey Canyon system.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

Irving Finkel: The Ark Before Noah: Decoding the Story of the Flood

Irving Finkel: The Ark Before Noah: Decoding the Story of the Flood

The recent translation of a Babylonian tablet launches a groundbreaking investigation into one of the most famous stories in the world, challenging the way we look at ancient history. Since the Victorian period, it has been understood that the story of Noah, iconic in the Book of Genesis, and a central motif in Judaism, Christianity and Islam, derives from a much older story that existed centuries before in ancient Babylon. But the relationship between the Babylonian and biblical traditions was shrouded in mystery. Then, in 2009, Irving Finkel, a curator at the British Museum and a world authority on ancient Mesopotamia, found himself playing detective when a member of the public arrived at the museum with an intriguing cuneiform tablet from a family collection. Not only did the tablet reveal a new version of the Babylonian Flood Story; the ancient poet described the size and completely unexpected shape of the ark, and gave detailed boat building specifications. Decoding this ancient message wedge by cuneiform wedge, Dr. Finkel discovered where the Babylonians believed the ark came to rest and developed a new explanation of how the old story ultimately found its way into the Bible. In The Ark Before Noah, Dr. Finkel takes us on an adventurous voyage of discovery, opening the door to an enthralling world of ancient voices and new meanings.Dr. Irving Finkel is Assistant Keeper of ancient Mesopotamian script, languages, and cultures at the British Museum. He is the curator in charge of cuneiform inscriptions on tablets of clay from ancient Mesopotamia, of which the Middle East Department has the largest collection of any modern museum.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.

Chris Bennett: Cannabis, the God Plant of Human Evolution

Seeking to identify the plant origins of the early sacramental beverages Soma and Haoma (Cannabis), this study draws a connection between the psychoactive properties of these drinks and the widespread use of cannabis among Indo-Europeans during this time. John A. Ruskamp: Chinese Explorers in Pre-Columbian America

John A. Ruskamp: Chinese Explorers in Pre-Columbian America

The Identification of Ancient Chinese Pictograms in pre-ColumbianNorth American Rock Writing???For centuries, researchers have been debating if, in pre-Columbian times, meaningful exchanges between the indigenous peoples of Asia and the Americas might have taken place.? Many sinologists have written positively on this topic, yet, so far, no conclusive proof has been put forth establishing such trans-Pacific contact as a historical event.?The primary report of this study, simply referred to as Asiatic Echoes, presents the reader with written evidence that in pre-Columbian times, and on multiple occasions, such historic trans-Pacific exchanges indeed took place. Using the novel integration of the legal construct of substantial similarity with the comparative statistical tool of the Jaccard Similarity Coefficient, the Chinese origin of 107 previously unrecognized North American petroglyphs and pictographs is established. For each of these pictogram-glyphs an analytical comparative statistic has been generated for the sometimes-obvious similarity of each symbol's line strokes with the corresponding features of an equally ancient and complex Chinese script pictogram. ??John A. Ruskamp, Jr. is the Senior Research Analyst for Epigraphic Research. His education includes a B.S. in biochemistry from the Illinois Institute of Technology, three graduate degrees (M.Ed., M.B.A, and Ed.D.) from Loyola University of Chicago, and extensive postdoctoral coursework.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/earth-ancients--2790919/support.
