The Elites, The Bankers & Us (what we learned from Davos 2023)

In this episode Tansy & Anja (from The Crypto Ethic) discuss their thoughts around the recent World Economic Forum (WEF) gathering at Davos 2023 and how a deeply ingrained mentality of centralisation (that starts at the very top of the organisation), and the 'we know best what is right for you' power dynamics, continues to dictate the economic agenda for the World.

Explainer: Every year the World Economic Forum (WEF) brings together powerful stakeholders, elites, various heads of state, central banking leads, the media and general rising members in society to Davos (Switzerland), in order to discuss key agenda's as they relate to the economy, the environment and the state of the World. This of course includes crypto, the metaverse, blockchain and the development of web3.

The intention of the WEF is to take a front seat in highlighting key areas and solutions which, through the contributions of a range of global representatives and 'experts', they deem to be best for the future of the World.
