Performances began yesterday, April 26, at the Children’s Theatre Company of Minneapolis where it will play through June 18, 2023. As you will hear, in this episode Itamar Moses and I also discuss his own family and childhood connections to the story of An American Tail/; how he was came to be a playwright in the first place; the differences between writing plays and writing musicals, as well ad the many challenges of musical adaptation and much more!
