It is approximately 10 pm October 1st, 2017. You’re having the time of your life in Las Vegas at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival. It’s been a weekend of music, good times, cold beer and fun. Headline act Jason Aldean takes the stage and is now closing the show with his hit song “When She Says Baby”. Over the beat of the drum and the chugging guitars, you begin to hear firecrackers. The stage and surrounding casinos illuminated, you think that maybe the fireworks are about to start... It’s Vegas after all! The lights go out, the smell of gunpowder fills the air; but the fireworks are nowhere in sight - something isn’t right...

But how exactly did a 64-year-old former millionaire find himself barricaded into his suite on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Casino Resort spraying hundreds of rounds of ammunition on to the innocent men, women and children below?

Did he act alone? Was he part of an international terrorist group? Was he a white supremacist? Was he anti-government militia?
